Creo que ya habia algun ticket al respecto.
Basicamente habria que hacer que cuando se cree un shp/dbf nuevo que contenga doubles, floats, integers o longs, asigne un valor adecuado al tamaño del campo y la precision.

No he podido comprobarlo por el 2762, que impide exportar.
