Application: gvSIG desktop

There's a bit of confusion in selection menu and toolbars. Furthermore the old "Select by polyline" tool is missing (maybe because it has the same position of another selection tool).
In reference to menu, this is my suggested order:

Instead, in reference to toolbars, I think that a unique toolbar could be the best choice. Then all the selection tools should be invisible when a vector layer is not available in active view. The order of tools in the toolbar should be the same of the menu. Finally, a great improvement could be the grouping of "Simple" and all the "Select_by_*" tools (except "Select by layer") in a unique menu button, just like in the raster toolbar. Because users usually don't use all of them, but only one or two.
