Option to have scrollbars or resize big images when opened by hyperlink

Description
Right now when you open a big image with the hyperlink it simply puts scrollbars and show it with its original size. On some occasions it would be useful to have the option of resizing it to the maximum size instead of keeping its original resolution.
I've made a simple patch for changing the default behaviour to that one, but if more people find this useful, I could work a bit on it trying to make it optional and keeping the original one as well.
