DESCRIPCION:
The geoResources plugin for gvSIG Desktop allows to store and organize local and remote data. The resources are included in a hierarchical tree of categories and have some metadata to let the user to filter and search over his collection easily.
The main features of the geoResources extension for gvSIG are:
- Define collections to store the resources
- Define a hierarchical set of categories
- Add description and notes to the resources
- Add any number of categories to the resources
- Validate the collection set of categories with an external vocabulary
- Load any resource on a gvSIG view
- Search on the collection on layer names, descriptions and so on
- Reorganize the categories, copying and moving categories over the collection
