Demasiados start - stop hacen que se abra demasiadas veces el fichero shp (o dbf), reservando una memoria con NIO que no se libera bien. La capa era de muchos puntos, y en cada punto se abría y cerraba. Con estos cambios, se evita abrir y cerrar tanto, se evita el fallo, y de paso se aceleran los accesos al shp....

El ticket comentaba sólo que habría que intercambiar los textos en la interfaz de usuario "(Escala max.)" por "(Escala min.)" pero para que no haya incongruencias en el código he intercambiado también los nombres de las propiedades y métodos relacionados, así como el sentido de los comparadores allí donde se usaban.
